2. Low Operating Torque: The resilient EPDM seat and offset disc design require relatively low torque to operate, allowing for smaller, more economical actuators.
3. Compact & Lightweight: Compared to gate or globe valves of the same size, they take up minimal space and are easier to install in tight locations.
4. Quarter-Turn Operation: 90° rotation from fully open to fully closed allows for quick operation and easy automation.
5. Low Pressure Drop: In the fully open position, the disc presents minimal obstruction to flow, resulting in high flow efficiency.
